The Introduction to Hospitality Security course provides learners with a fundamental understanding of possible security threats and the best practices to follow when handling them. Learners are introduced to various types of threats and the general principles required to identify and handle these threats. They will be able to handle a live incident and its immediate aftermath. Additionally, learners will be able to identify and deal with the effects of adrenaline. The objective of this course is for learners to ensure the safety of fellow team members and Guests in the event of a security breach. They will be able to approach these situations with confidence, and respond appropriately in line with general human rights guidelines.
