Continued Learning

We are reaching the end of 2015 and that means holiday season for most of your Guests! It’s very easy to get caught up in the hype and excitement and push learning aside.

This is actually a perfect time to put all the skills you have learnt throughout the year to the test. Having a busy establishment means there is an even bigger incentive to impress all your Guests. This is why keeping your learning routine in place is particularly important.

Every opportunity is a learning opportunity.'

So how do you manage your learning schedule when Guests come streaming into your establishment in peak season?

Use these quick tips to help you continue learning with Lobster Ink this festive season:

  1. Study when you wake up
Early morning is an ideal time to study because you are refreshed after a good night’s rest. Grab a cup of coffee and make the most of the quiet time.

  2. Compare notes
While you have those few minutes of downtime have a chat with other learners in your department. Ask each other questions and discuss the parts of the course you are having difficulty with.

  3. Learn on the go
Watch a lesson during tea time, or take an assessment during lunch. This way you will be sure to make quick progress even when you are busy.

The skills and product knowledge you learn from Lobster Ink will help you ‘wow’ your Guests. All you need to do is put in that extra effort to keep learning during the silly season.
