Today is World Water Day
“Do what you can, do it with others and do it with Passion” Guy Ryder, Chair of UN-Water, on the power of individuals to change the world.
The aim of World Water Day is to bring to light the water crisis we face globally. Currently over 1.8 billion people around the world’s only source of drinking water is contaminated with faeces, putting entire populations at risk of contracting cholera, dysentery, typhoid and polio.
This year Lobster Ink is committed to assisting with reducing food and water wastage globally. In the coming months we are putting partnerships in place to ensure that we can educate and spread the word on key habits that establishments and learners can employ to reduce wastage.
This year the UN’s theme for World Water Day is Wastewater. Learn more and join us in the fight to fix the global water crisis.
