Wine can be categorised in a number of ways: varietal, where it is produced, the way it was produced, vintage and most commonly, colour. But there is a lot more to red wines than just their colour and the differences between them can vary dramatically. What will I learn?
Graduates of our Red Wine courses will first enjoy an introduction to wine as a whole, giving them a solid foundation before learning about the two most important red wine producing areas – Burgundy and Bordeaux. Your learners will soon be able to serve these wines with confidence, knowing their history, the different varietals and how to sell and serve them to your Guests.
